Default Top Speed runs...

Being a newbie to australia...

and this is a massive topic in the uk just thought id ask about top speed over here...

I have done 172.8mph (278km) in under 1km from a standing start...at bruntingthorpe (episode 3 of season 17 of top gear filmed here)

TOP speed ever is 179 (288) but not on a timed run as it was on a dual carraige way in the uk but was on offical timing gear.

So does any else have any offical ??

Talking about track work is fine but talking about how fast you go on public roads is hugely not recommended.
