Default No acceleration when running on petrol but smooth on gas.

I've had my AUII Falcon for about a year now, its my first car and up until now there were no problems. Whenever I take my foot off the accelerator and then put it back on I get no power at all. I've tried pulsing the accelerator, putting it flat to the floor and driving through the gears but all resulting in no power and no revs for about 100-200 metres but after that it gets going. I don't know much at all about cars but it must be a petrol problem as running it on LPG is absolutely fine.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated

Start with the simple. Replace the fuel filter and see if it makes a difference. Check the fuel pump is working well. If so, have the fuel pressure regulator checked. If still no difference try the fuel injectors.
