Eb gt or El gt, which is the preference?
I know they were both considered anniversary gt falcons but are they gt's in their own right and worth collecting? |

EL and I've owned an EB GT. EL more refined and more special parts like brakes and interior and carbon fire wrapped tailshaft. Also has hydratrak diff.

I like the look of the EL GT over the EB.
The EB's seem to cost more as well.

EB for me.
Released just before I got my Licence, being a Ford and a GT fan, I dreamt of buying one, lusted over a friends neighbour's car.... Might buy one one day to scratch that itch. Are they worth collecting? Sounds like you're just investing. Here is a tip buy the car you like and enjoy it....novel idea, I know. |

EB for the exterior look. I think it looks tougher, more aggressive than the EL.
The EL looks nice inside but EB has nicer looking front seats. If the EL came with a decent looking grill then I might like it more. When magazines drove the EB GT and VP GTS back to back they complained the EB felt like it didn't have the same power although quoted 200kw like the HSV. Turned out Ford lied. I owned a VP GTS and I loved it. Long story short, EB for exterior and front seats, EL for the 200kw.

Both please...
Honestly though I'd grab the EL, it has a nice unusual shape to it.

Nothing against the el, I just prefer the boxcar in gt form. Any other model then it's bubble car all the way.

I like both, but would pick the EB. When the EL was released that grill was very polarising.

I think everybody knows my preference.
I like the EB's, would like to get one one day, but just can't stand the interior.

I woud love either one or both.
They are both GT's and have their own place. I am pretty sure I will be adding either one to the stable. I have a soft spot for the EL, loved them when they came out, but was dream territory, later bought an EL XR8 Series 2 manual, great car to drive. Once I come into the market I will be looking at both and buy the best car I can get for my $$, must have sun roof and be manual
