First up in posting this I am not criticising Doug and the obdgenie team in USA
But I outright failed on the set up, and I figure the problem must be that the 2014 sync system in my 2014 fgx falcon is not compatible with what appears to be a good system offered by obdgenie Have text US with photos etc and if anyone has any tips that might help either way for better or worse will be appreciated .... I thought I did my homework ok but I have that inner sense of a fail and in that a write off ... so be it ... possibly I can recover it somehow but I figure at this point that it's a lost cause ... back to using google maps .... Update - new obd genie being shipped ...
They are totally confident the unit is compatible So I tell myself, stay patient and get to the next step For an overseas transaction the customer service in manner and response is excellent...
