has anyone tried or heard about this product? it somehow adjusts signals from a solonoid and smooths auto gear changes. I'm thinking I should probably stay the hell away.

They work well, alot of people swear by them, but if you do your research you can build our own for the cost of parts

thanks. for 40 bucks I might jsut give it a go. just worried it would reduce the life of the gearbox. it's a bit clunky as it is.

Mine cost me a grand total of about $10. Two resistors and a length of wire. Well, I spent another $10 on a cheapo wire stripping/crimping kit. www.mechanicalforums.com have diagrams & stuff regarding this ;) -Dave- |

If the Change is a little clunky, it might be time to look at an OIL change and a new filter? Does help a little. Just dont add any of those TRANS additives? Sometimes do more damage than good.

Those looms take a lot of electrical punishment though ;) ;) I reckon they'd handle a 1.21gW surge of power... Oh to be transported back to 1991... ok going off topic here... |
