Hi newbee here. I have a AUII SR falcon, I am try deperatly to hook up the mute function on the stereo, I have looked at all the wiring on this site that I can see, but for the life of me cannot find where to plug it up too. I think I tried every wire on the back of the stereo none worked. Has anyone got a clue as to what colour wire I am supposed to be connecting it to. I have a standard AU as well and it just connected the light green wire on the back of the stereo, no problem at all. Any clues??? Do I need to get the adaptor kit?? I am getting an aftermarket head unit soon, but I need this in the meantime... anyone???? Please help

Should be a connector prewired near right hand side of the console. Should be mentioned in your owners manual. Or post this question in the Stingray in the Sponsors forum.

Thank you for your referal RED_EL_XR8.
The AU 2 did not come prewired from the ford factory.Ironically the au 1 was fully wired with an easy access mobile phone wiring harness. In order to complete the task at hand you must purchase the radio mute wiring harness from ford. The radio must be removed then the loom plugged into the radio. From there it is a relatively easy task to hook up.
