Just finished putting new rear pads in the EB, went for a (test) drive through Ferntree Gully, and I see "EAFLCN" or similar driving over the train tracks with the E-Series sticker on the rear passenger window. Nice looking car actually, makes my stock Fairmont seem unworthy of that sticker... Might have to grab some EF door handles though, makes the car seem cleaner.
Just one question, might as well throw it in the same thread... When my a/c is on, the shift points on the auto trans seem to change. It holds gears longer, and doesn't go into overdrive before 65ish km/h. Is this normal? It still shifts fine, just thought I'd make sure it isn't because it's overheating the trans or anything. |

He is one of only a few members I've seen in everyday travel - twice in fact. The first time I was in my EA.
About the tranny, I am pretty sure that is normal. It shifts later to compensate for the extra strain on the engine. If you want it to shift into overdriver earlier, a shorter diff ratio would be the best way. |
