as per title..I am chasing a ea or is there a eb spac cluster and what is the value....
I would like one of these due to the inbuilt tacho..rather than installing a big bulky tacho on the dash (I do have one)... This is a thought for my 351c ea project. Or should I just go all out and fill the ИИИИpit with guages and moodlights?

a EA Spac cluster would be suited to a 6 cylinder Tacho
You would need a EB/ED 5.0 Spack/fairmont cluster if you were going to use a V8 with the cluster. A EB/ED V8 cluster would be around $80? Im not sure what they would be exactly. Have not seen a EB2/ED V8 Spack cluster for sale in a while infact EA 6 cyl go for $30 on ebay roughly EB2/ED 6 cyl go for $100 upwards on ebay and $50 at a wreckers

EA cluster into EB2/ED and vice versa will give you a inaccurate fuel gauge reading. Besides that they are the same except the 5.0 V8 version on EB2/ED since EA's didnt have a V8 cluster

The tacho on my cluster doesent work anymore because the 6 cyl cluster is not matched to the 8cyl engine. Real pain, looks ugly, havent decided what i'm doing about it. If this helps, I was considering removing the standard tacho and replacing it in the cluster with a nice tidy aftermarket electronic tacho. I think that there is enough room in there to do that. Not sure if any circuit board tracks are in the way tho. I'm not a big fan of the tacho on the dash, it looks too "VL" Mike

yeah I agree mike. The tacho sitting on the dash or even up the windscreen pillar always make me think try hard.....I understand that the tacho will have problems and was thinking also of using an aftermarket tacho in its place....but then I was also thinking dakota (?) guages or something similar?..we'll see got to get it on the road first then worry about the cosmetics.
