Depends on what wheels you have.If you have 15's or 16's superlows will be cool mate.
I'm running 18's with 245's with superlows on my ed and its cutting it VERY close....indeed i should look into getting mine done! superlows look way cooler when u have 15's aswell...when i got my superlows my car was a sleeper with 15 inch xr8 rims and it sat alot lower than with my 18s(they bump it up a little. if you had 19's or 20's id be seriously thinking about cutting, rolling etc so that the tyres can sit under the guards. Anyhoo if you have 15's or 16's the car will look fantastic!( i'd even think about getting ultralows, they are about 10mm shorter)

Depends on the car, springs and shocks. I had superlows and 15s that didn't scrub, but I changed the front shocks and I used to get bad scrubbing even with the 15s - when I put 17s on it was even worse and it pulled down some of the guard... If you can afford it, then do it.

On the rear, 235/45/17's and smaller you can go pretty damn low with no probs. The front, it pretty much depends on the car, and the wheel/tyre combo, but get 'em rolled at the first sign of scrubbing, it can make a mess of the guards very quickly.

Thats not to bad I payed $220 for the springs and got some bushers and shocks aswell, cost me about $890 allup still got about 500-600 $$$ of work still to go. Basicly a total replacment. :hihi:
Ring around but i know pedders will want more than that. : With WEB the more you get done the cheaper they make it. OH and ball joints so I got ball joints, bushers, shocks, back brakes (pads)+ hand brake and springs for $890. |

$830 for fitting ? that sounds damn expensive. I fitted my springs myself and it took about 4 hours front and rear, and that was without a helper. Also replaced the rear shocks too.
Deffinately get some more quotes. EDIT: i think i miss read, do they supply the shocks and springs ? If so i guess it's not too bad, still sounds expensive though. |
