3,000 to 5,000 - the rarity is what makes it worth something.
Be a nice project car and they are the nicest looking EA I ever saw.... |

yeah don't spend too much. Remember it has done 250,000kms. It was more of a marketing exercise than one of increased performance. As such, I don't think they are as desirable as say an EBII - EDXR6 or the like.
No more than 3k. It is still an 88 EA |

here is the link to the car i was looking at. I too was thinking not a cent over 3k and hopefully just offer 2500 and he'll be happy with that. As you all said it is nearly twenty years old, with a botched up interior, 250k's and a month worth of rego. |

nah thats not an svo, i know of 2 svo's round my way, and they are painted grey on the bottom (like a calias) have got grey sprint wheels and a skirting kit and lip spoiler, also the front grill is more like the eb one but instead of the badge it has svo written in it. What is the difference in performance in these to a normal falcon have they got anywork to them.

the SVO's were more about suspension mod's and handaling then actual power output
thay were pritty much the same in horese im guessing maby a cam upgrade but im not sure plus it might not b a full SVO it might have little twiccks ive now of SVO's that dont have the kit and two tone paint but have badging and stuff |

Ok, thanks for all the replies guys. Now you have all actually seen the car and the fact that its prob not a genuine svo, how much should i be offering? I'm thinking no more than 2500. Would that be being too generous or not enough? Obviously i will actually inspect it before i actually hand the cash over but im just trying to get a basic idea so i can work out where i am financially if i decide to go through with it, because i am not exactly a wealthy man. 18 next week earning $160 a week :

No No No! That looks like a standard S Pack 2 me. There is absolutely no evidence that that is an SVO. As such, it is only worth as much as a standard EA with those ks. $1000 - $2000 MAX!! And I mean MAX! You have 2 be careful with ebay. I mean I love ebay, but cars on ebay is a different story. Ultimately it's worth what YOU'RE (the buyer) willing 2 pay 4 it. I just don't want u 2 blow ur money. U could get a clean EBII for $2000 - $3000. Inspection is a must. These cars are a dime a dozen.
