This may sound like a stupid question. But i have no idea how to change to alt belt on my EB series 2 4.0lt falcon. Can the belt be replaced without dropping the power steering and the air con belt? Or do i have to take the other two off before i can get to the alt belt? I have a gregory's manual and the ford log book and all they say is how to tension it, not to replace it, the belt is starting to look frayed and it is slipping that much that i can smell burning rubber!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Yeah, u need to remove the power steering belt 1st. Leave A/C belt on as it sits behind the alt/water pump belt on the balancer. Once the belt is loose, pop it off and spin it around the radiator fan to remove it...
