hey guys took the front bar off today to inspect for further damage and found that the section where the front bar bolts onto the car is damaged the rail inside is straight but the section in the pics is hit. Is this repairable by a panel beater or will a new section have to be welded on?

Can't you just bash that out yourself? Does the bar sit straight still? If it does, I woudn't even worry about it. Just spray some paint over it to stop any rust from starting.

It is repairable. It's been done on my car (when I bingled my car, I bent a chassis rail. We bent it back into shape.) A good crowbar makes all the difference

so its bashable???? ok thats good news i guess id rather give it to a panel beater to get it right though. The reason i want to fix it is because the front bar doesnt sit straight because of this .
Also for all those people with xr headlights out there would you know if the little black plastic clips that hold the individual lights on the adjustment threads are actually a part i which u can buy ??? |

straighten it the best you can, and just use washers to even out what needs to be aligned better, far cheaper and who ever sees it.
