Default tricky (maybe) axle problem

hey everybody!

swapped over my axle housing (inc. diff) cause i bent mine.

i'm trying to install the axle on the driver's side but it sticks out bout 15mm meaning the brake caliper won't fit over etc etc..

it's engaging as the other axle (passenger side) is rotating.

i don't really want to force it but should it be banged in to get it to sit correctly??

any ideas?

Is it a LSD?

I'm pretty sure its not,

the new diff is from EA SPac, and the axles are from my car (EA GL). My car was def. no LSD, i'm pretty sure the Spac wasn't either. the tag didn't say it was.

the passenger side fitted perfect, there is a little bit of play in the axles on both side but only minimal.
