Am looking to see if there are any members in the cairns townville area.
I am looking to find a place to do a 1/4 mile run.

There is some members in NQ. PM Boss 330 and Ramblin Rose. Let me know if you can't find them and I will dig you up email addy's. There is a strip at Townsville at The Bohle. Not sure about Cairns???

Howdy nashi, im in townsville, and would be keen to go for a race.
The bohle dragway has test and tune sessions every saturday night (i think). From memory its about 20 bucks to race all night. |

That sounds about right. no where legal to do it in cairns but is a good night if you go to townsville with some mates and cars. Used to do it when I lived up there and cause strip is about half hour on the north side of townsville it doesnt seem to take to long to get there from cairns still about 3 hours but makes for a good night we used to drive back the same night.

It could have very well been me. I have noticed that there aren't too many of the vixen red xr6's round up here. I am usually around the kirwan area as we are just off Kern Bros drive.
I would love to do a night at the bohle. It would be great to see what my baby can do!

Mick's got a Clubby (VTII I think?) with a bit of work done to it.
There are some quick HSVs/LS1s floating around, and most of them are in the local HSV club. Be wary... I haven't seen a BOSS V8 get anywhere near any of them. There's not many stock cars in the club. And they're not shy of having a run either. There were two XR6T utes that used to give them a slapping every now and then. (Now there's only one, I traded mine ;)) |
