ok today when just going for a drive to the shops i spotted a few F6 typhoons and tornados so i decided id follow to see wat the go was......once i caught up to them i spotted what i thought to be a fairmont ghia with a GT kit...upon closer inspection i saw the FORCE8 badge...i kept following and they pulled up to a carpark and stopped so i went round the corner and pulled in to another spot....walked back and watched for a while then spotted about 3 more cars that lookd similar, however one didnt have the bonnet bulge...i waited until all the drivers went inside the restaurant for what i guess was a conference to discuss the models or something.....took a few shots...was gonna get more but camera died....there was a force 8 and a force 6 with red leather interior and another two with black leather.....also has chrome mirrors...can all be seen in the pics though!! heres the pics of my camera phone |

Dissappointing. Looks liek a GT with lip spoiler, and chrome mirrors. Will reserve judgement till they are officially released.
EDIT: The back looks pretty nice though. |

very nice find, u sneaky b**** : loving the bobtail on the boot but a bit dissapointed since it pretty much looks like a bf gt with a bobtail but i still would never turn one down. Do we know why there called FORCE 8/6 is there something engine wise that will provide some good figures??

How very original of ford. Probably uses the exact same engine specs as the typhoon/GT.. same bodykit, same wheels.. just no spoiler...? whats the point. Wouldn't it have been cheaper to put a "delete spoiler" option on the current GT/F6..

That wispy Force badging looks crap I gotta say. Just when I thought Ford had made a massive improvement with their branding after the horrible font on the AU Falcon and LR Focus. I hope FPV dont settle with that.

Can't say I'm impressed and am certainly hoping that the name denotes something that WILL impress us.
Wonder what they are doing out? Wouldn't be a magazine testing them already would it? Interesting to see the use of the typhoon rims on a car with a bonnet buldge (an 8 i guess).... All in all disappointing, ugly badge...... hope there's more good to come

check out the chrome mirrors and detailing on the front bar! but yes it does look like a pretty **** poor effort at a new model. maybe it comes with 2 hookers in the boot... anything less than that and it wont attract many buyers |

well that ruined the suprise of getting into the motorshow early on thursday (vip passes :hihi: )
maybe they just had phoon rims on there so they didnt show the real design? but then why would you drive the rest of the car around like that. just a tad dissappointing. and the GT has BA Mk2 Stripes on it :

Looks like it would be very difficult for Badge theifs to rip this badge off in one peice with their screw drivers anyway.

i reckon the force models will looks ausome when they are dropped and have crome wheels...i wants to see them in person but at the moment they look great but a bit like the gt and typhoon...which may dissapoint but is good because the fpv range look hot and maybe the target buyer is a buyer who likes the style but does not want to go over board with the spoiler

I was hoping they would use the new Fairmont GHIA headlights to differentiate them from the rest of the flock, but they still look great.
Quite hard to distinguish GT/GTP from Force8 from up front.. well from far away anyway. |

But... What if the diff raito has been changed? (just something I heard) Still to be confirmed.... it's not going to "transform" the car but might make the Force cars slightly different to drive. Did anyone think to ask at the launch? D:
