Default Mk2 Focus Cai

Hi looking at getting a CAI and like the aem as had one on my SP23 but not sure if this is the correct one for the MK2 so can someone please confirm:

Given I don't think the US has the Mk2 Focus yet, I would doubt it is the right intake. But I stand to be corrected

us has a 'facelift' model with the duratec and a different front end, a kind of cross between the mk1 and mk2 a.... mk1.5 if you will....

The engine layout is fairly similar between the Bastard 1.5 and the 2. Hopefully the radiator position is the same, if it is then your set with that one.

But if your looking for somewhere local, just look for a Mazda3 cold air intakes, both the 2.0 and 2.3 have the same intake. They have identical engine bays, and you should be able to fit larger pods in focus between the radiator support and the front bar behind the fog lights.

Go custom at an exhaust shop IMO. For 400 landed of the AEM, you can get the piping made up and gold plated for the same price.

that looks slightly different to my engine bay, i was thinking about a CAI upgrade myself but its alittle different in my baby :(

JD you can find a fair bit of info on CAI intakes for the XR5 on the euro forums. There is even one thread with heaps of pics with some dude who made his own one up.
