hi guy's , i have my battery out quite alot and the other week i put the wrong code in, 3 times. now it's saying err which i have had it do before, but it won't go back to code.
i thought once it say's err you just have to leave it for a few hours, well it's been week's. it's series 1. any idea's cheers marty |

i thought when it did that, ya disconnect the battery again for a bit, recon and enter the correct code and it should all be good

Happened to me awhile ago, i just drove for a few hours no stereo and after awhile in went back to asking for the code.

leave it a little longer. the more errors, the longer the delay.
Do you leave it turned on with the "err" message?? |

They changed the stereo over when I picked up the car so the code is totally friggen useless to me! I'm stereoless until monday... |

You have to leave the radio turned on - it takes about 30 mins - then if you put the wrong code in a fourth time, the reset (err) time is increased for even longer than 30 mins and so on and so on.

Woohoo Yay for dodgyness!
Couldn't get the bastard of a thing out so took it to my mate at autobarn who with the correct tools had it out in oh 10 seconds And guess what was written ontop of the unit thats right the code!!! |
