In that case, if you ever get to see the inside the engine room of HMAS TOBRUK, go have a gander. Its got a couple of inline 8 cylinder engines driving her shafts. The cylinders are about 1-1.5m in diameter.

I would love to see the tacho 1-11, with a "X10" at the bottom lol

However I think the site is incorrect, the asian characters in the factory are Korean, not Japanese, and Korea does have a huge ship building port that pumps out around 100 tankers / liners a year....

lol is it just me or do people go to great lengths to indicate that something is a repost. Posts that just say " repost " **** me enough lol let alone ones that have been captioned specifically for reposts. It's not like it's the end of the world...is it? :

For those who like hugely powerful big engines, check this out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbqPIU4bnxo

The spanish is a bit off but there is an american woman describing the engine in the video.

What about an XA GT witha 5,750 litre diesel?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1973-Ford-Fal...QQcmdZViewItem
Me thinks it's another SCAM. The buy it now for $10,200 sub title is a dead giveaway. When will they learn how to do a scam properly?

All two stroke diesels need a type of forced induction to run either belt or exhaust gas driven

so the answer is yes it already is
