Default guess wat i went in?

well n e ways one of my mates recently got a job for mercedes and he gets to drive all these sweet cars around. so anyways the other day he had to take this 1.3mill maybach to this function and sit out the front in it, i mean not a bad car to be driving on your p's if u dont mind. anyways after the function he had to take it back to the dealership and drop it off but when he got back there to swap back to his car it had been blocked in by some dealership cars when they pack up, so one of the mercedes guys is just like take it home i trust u 'yeh right' lol so n e ways he rang me on the way home and said im picking you up and i tell you this thing was bloody awsome it had everything, v12 twin turbo, i think it was 380kw so not that powerful for the engine but it did just over 5 seconds 0-100 but remember this thing is a luxury car and is 6.3 meters long and weighs over 2 ton. It had a transparent roof worth 30g and fully reclinable rear seats and the ride was absolutly amazing. n e ways it was pretty cool cruising round in it should have seen the amount of looks we were getting.
well anways thought i might share my story

The really powerful models (supercharged V8s, V12s etc) still stick with the old 5spd because the new 7spd can't handle the grunt.

I have seen a few couple of those outside hotels in Europe. Do they come in any colour other than two-tone blue? Looks like a huge Hyundai Grandeur. Did you notice that each front wheel has TWO brake calipers? What about the reclining rear seats and electric blinds on the back window? I would prefer a CLS AMG (the one that looks like a cockroach). Saw one in the carpark of K Mart at Blacktown the other day, with a shopping trolley leaning against it.
Check out the back seats:

I uranium_death congratulate you on the fact that you were able to ride in a v12 i really suggest that to increase the readability of your text you should put in what we call punctuation punctuation includes full stops commas apostrophes and sms talk doesnt go down well here because its hard to read but seriously well done on riding the v12 i wish i could have had a ride instead i am stuck with a vt2 acclaim i guess that is what you get for living in an average family but oh well at least i have my health so in final how easy was my ramble to read without punctuation yeah its not easy oh well i hope this points out the need for paragraphs full stops properly placed commas etc and yes i am a jerk for doing this

Now in terms of the car itself, I would be afraid to drink champagne in the back given if I spill any, I've got a pricey dry-cleaning bill for the seats!

You obviously don't have leather seats or you would know that any spillages just wipe straight off. :

In my family? Pfft..no way.

I look forward to the day when I get leather seats.

Comfort, luxury and enjoying life are myths in my family.

Time to start my own

That was said tongue-in-cheek by the way. I was thinking about how my dog decided he wanted to jump on the lounge this morning and head butted my coffee!

Being able to post stuff on the internet at 12.44PM on a weekday could be considered a luxury.

My family sucks: I have one parent who is a tight self-funded retired at 54 millionaire and the other is a housing deparment drunk who can't budget for the next fortnight. They got married too young.

I am having a SON in 8 weeks time and hopefully his life will be more "normal" than mine. I haave already been told he is going to be kept away from grandma.

Bet you that was the first time that that particular Maybach had been exposed to such poor grammar. The onboard voice recognition system must have gone into meltdown.

Yeah this one time, i went for a drive in my mates uncles tripple supercharged Mercedes 7 series, id upload pics but i lost my camera...

Seriously this time... We have a mercedes road show type thing come through our town every year, invite only sort of job. Every year dad gets asked to come 'test' a car as my grandparents have bought a few mercs in there time... Last year we got a C55 AMG, this year we upgraded to an S500, only 190km on the clock when we got it, and YES i do have pics but i cbf uploading them unless anyone really wants to see it...

Absolutly awesome car, the interior quality, fit, finish, everything is just so good! Nice and powerful too for such a big car, only got to drive it around the block but i wasnt complaining as i was only on my L's...
